Obituary of Marjorie A. Morrocco Kiral

Mount Pleasant, Marjorie A. Morrocco Kiral, age 88 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Friday (03/13/15) in Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Kiral was born September 17, 1926 in Scottdale, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony and Teresa Mecurio Morrocco. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt Pleasant, and it's Christian Mothers. Margie was a graduate of the former Scottdale High School. She had been employed by the former Frick Memorial Hospital and Frick Community Hospital in Mount Pleasant, retiring in 1988 with over 38 years of service. Margie worked the 3 to 11 shift in the Obstetrics Department, so if you were born in Frick Hospital you were probably cared for by Margie. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family. Margie will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her loving family: her sons, George Kiral and his wife Janet and Anthony "Butch" Kiral and his wife Mary, all of Mt. Pleasant, by her beloved grandchildren; Jonathan, Christopher, Anthony, Matthew and Christine Kiral, and by a very special nephew, Philip Benedict. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Kiral in 1989, her four brothers, Michael, Julius, Arthur and Armand Morrocco, and her three sisters, Florence Benedict, Helen Smith, and Genevieve Shimshock. As per the wishes of the family, there will be no hours of public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Margie's Funeral Mass being celebrated on Monday, March 16th at 12:00-Noon in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be follow in St. John's Church Parish Cemetery, Scottdale, PA. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at the Harmon House and Frick Hospital Coronary Care for their compassion and kindness and for the special care given to Margie during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, in memory of Marjorie Morrocco Kiral.
