Obituary of Amy Dee Cunnard Sullenberger

Tarrs, Amy Dee Cunnard Sullenberger, age 92 of Tarrs, PA, died Tuesday (2/3/15) at the home of her daughter in Scottdale, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Sullenberger was born November 30, 1922 in Central, PA, the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Leasure Cunnard. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church of Tarrs. Amy's favorite pastime was going to bingo. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She is survived by her loving family: her children; David A. Sullenberger and his wife Dianne of Mt. Pleasant and Susan D. Harrold and her husband William of Scottdale, her beloved grandchildren: Lissa Ladowitz and Daniel, and David Lint and Devon and her great grandchildren; William Stein, Belle Lint, Brandi Lint, David Lint, Paige Ladowitz and Kayla Ladowitz, and her favorite granddog Baxter. In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Sullenberger in 1997, and by her brothers and sisters; Thomas (TH), Arthur, and Edgar Cunnard, Kahtleen DiBlasie, Hilda Coffman, Garnet Thompkins Miller, Eleanor McKissock and Gertrude Beken. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Amy will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, with Pastor Greg Butler officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs, PA.
