Obituary of Jack LeRoy Cunnard

Youngwood, Jack LeRoy Cunnard Sr., age 79 of Youngwood, PA, died peacefully Tuesday (1/27/15) at his home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Cunnard was born March 13, 1935 in Tarrs, PA, the son of the late LeRoy and Selma Gordon Cunnard. Jack served for four years during the Korean War and on the USS Brush in 1951. He was a member of the American Legion Post 945. Jack was a longtime resident of California, Arkansas and Colorado. He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Terry L. Fieg Cunnard, his son, James Cunnard of Pittsburgh, and by his three Grandchildren, and Two Great Grandchildren of Arkansas. Jack is also survived by his sisters; Patricia Yanniello of Mt. Pleasant, Sandy Grego and Mark of Vanderbilt, and by his brother, David Gordon of Mt. Pleasant. Jack is also survived by many nieces and nephews; Kimberly Hough of Mt. Pleasant, Stacey Grego Sherwood of Alaska, Kristen Grego Vitikacs of Connellsville, Peggy Gordon of Scottdlale, Michael Yanniello of Cheswick, Timothy Yanniello, Joseph Yanniello, and David Gordon, Jr., all of Mt. Pleasant, and Ronald Hough of Colorado. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his son Jack LeRoy Cunnard, Jr. and by his sister, Nancy Hough. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 P.M at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant, PA. Military Honors will be conducted at the funeral home at 4:45 PM Friday by the American Legion Post 446, followed by Jack's Funeral Service at 5:00 PM with the Rev. Henry Landis officiating. Additional viewing will continue after the Service until 8PM. Inurnment will be private. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and nurses of the Arnold Palmer Cancer Center of Mt.
