Obituary of Edith Fueller Majeski

Mt. Pleasant, Edith Fueller Majeski, age 97 of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of the North Side, Pittsburgh, died Tuesday (11/18/14) in the Greensburg Care Center. Mrs. Majeski was born July 15, 1917 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late John and Minnie Masur Fueller. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Mt. Pleasant. Edith was a 1936 graduate of Oliver High School. She worked as a sales clerk for the J.C. Penney Co. for many years. Edith served on the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging advisory council, and enjoyed doing volunteer work for many organizations. Edith is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Myrtle M. Sumoski and her husband Thomas of Latrobe, her grandson, Gregg Manjerovic and his wife Michelle of Annville, her grandchildren, Riley and Tyler Manjerovic and her step grandchildren, Courtney and Noah Reitz. She is also survived by her sister, Myrtle Fueller Brooks of Bellevue. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Majeski in 1982. In honoring Edith's wishes, there will be no public hours of visitation. Private Inurnment will be in the Highwood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
