Obituary of Ryan Michael Senko

Mount Pleasant, Ryan Michael Senko, age 22 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Wednesday (10/1/14) at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Senko was born July 10, 1992 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Ed and Sue Ponko Senko of Mt. Pleasant. Ryan was a 2010 graduate of the Southmoreland High School. He was employed as an Assistant Manager for the Finish Line in Greensburg. Ryan was a caring, gentle, and a kind young man with the brightest brown eyes and a wonderful smile. His passion for his work and love of athletic shoes allowed him to be very successful in his career at the Finish Line. He was also a very dedicated Penguin and Pirate fan. He loved Star Wars, Harry Potter, video games, the Beatles, Batman, Pink Floyd and his car Shanelle. Ryan loved spending time with his family, his friends and his precious yellow lab "Sadie". He was a joy to be around and always had the ability to make you laugh and leave you smiling. May God Bless you and keep you Ryan, and hold you forever in the palm of his hand. Ryan is survived by his loving family: his parents Ed and Sue Senko, his brother, Stephen L. Senko of Mt. Pleasant, his paternal grandmother, Margaret A. Moravec Senko of Donora, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Senko, his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Kathryn Albright Ponko and his uncle, Larry Senko. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 5 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Monday at the funeral home at 12:30 PM, followed by Ryan's Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Pius X. Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
