Obituary of Nancy Lee Shreves

Greensburg, Nancy Lee Ruff Shreves, age 66 of Greensburg, PA, formerly of Acme, died Monday (6/9/14) in the Excela Heath- Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Shreves was born September 4, 1947 in Scottdale, PA, the daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln and Evelyn Shaner Ruff. She was Christian by faith. Nancy so loved the Christmas Holiday; it was her special time of the year, and she enjoyed sending hundreds of Christmas Cards to her family and her many friends. Nancy is survived by her loving family: her companion, Daniel Reschick, her children; twin daughters, Michelle Palmer and her husband Randy of Ligonier and Marsha Seremet of Greensburg, by her sons, Richard Bisel of Norvelt, and Michael Shreves and his wife Heather of New Kensington, by her beloved grandchildren; Mykayla, Collin, Miranda, Jessica and Megan, and by her beloved pets, Precious, Snowball and Cuddles. She is also survived by her sisters, Wanda Ruff of Acme and Connie Knox of Greensburg, and by her half sister,Loretta Menzie and her half brother, Terry Menzie, both of Acme. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her Step Mother, Anna Menzie. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Nancy will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with Pastor William N. Simanovich officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Saltlick Township.
