Obituary of Wilma May Marker

North Huntingdon, Wilma May Fisher Kitta Marker, age 85 of North Huntingdon, PA, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday (2/18/14) in UPMC-McKeesport Hospital, McKeesport, PA. Mrs. Marker was born March 28, 1928 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late William and Helen Eicher Fisher. She was a member of the Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren. Wilma was a graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School. She worked as a home caregiver to many families in the area until she was 82. She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Peter Paul Kitta, Jr. and his wife Donna of Vandalia, OH, Daniel Lee Kitta and his wife Patricia of Mt. Pleasant, and Robert Walter Kitta and his wife Monica of North Huntingdon, with whom she made her home, her beloved grandchildren, Bradley Kitta, Brandy Kitta Book and Samuel, Brianna Kitta McMillion and Justin, Nathan Kitta, Ashley Kitta, and Adam Kitta, and her nine great grandchildren. Wilma is also survived by her sisters, Eleanor Yenerall of Greensburg, and Dolores Stoker and Alvin of Tarrs. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Merle Marker in 1986, her brother; William Fisher, Jr. and her sister, Dorothy Stiltenpole. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Mrs. Marker will be held Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren, 494 East Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666, in memory of Wilma May Fisher Marker.
