Obituary of Josephine G. Permuko Drab

Mount Pleasant, Josephine G. Permuko Drab, age 90 of Mt. Pleasant, PA, died Saturday (01/18/14) in Jo Ella's Personal Care Home, Scottdale, PA. Mrs. Drab was born May 8, 1923 in Central, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bohovecky Permuko. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society. Josephine had worked for many years at Nino's Restaurant. She is survived by her loving family: her children; John J. Drab, Jr. of Garfield Heights, OH, her daughter, Patricia Angyal and her husband Alex of Cleveland, OH, her grandchildren, John Angyal and Liz, Mark Angyal, and Gayle and Sarah and Melanie Drab, and by her great grandchildren Tabitha, Anthony and Caroline Angyal, Cheyenne Fine, and Nick and Jessica Rolsen, and by her great great grandson, Cameron. Josephine is also survived by her sister, Joann Jurkowski of Akron, OH. In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Drab in 2012, her brother Michael Permuko in 2002, and by her sisters, Margaret Ketch in 2012, Agnes Haines in 2011, and Maryanne Libengood in 2009. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 12:00-Noon followed by Josephine's Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Dennis A. Bogusz as celebrant. Interment will be in the Visitation Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. A Parish Wake Service will be held Tuesday @ 3:30PM and the Visitation Rosary Altar Society will pray the rosary @4PM in the funeral home.
