Obituary of James Richard Majercak

Jeannette, James Richard "Major" Majercak, age 54 of Jeannette, a resident of Passavant Memorial Home, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday (1/17/14) in the Excela Health- Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, PA. Mr. Majercak was born July 22, 1959 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Martin and Genevieve Kaczynski Majercak. Major worked as an assembler for ARC of Westmoreland. He enjoyed dancing and especially loved Christmas. He was an avid TV watcher, who enjoyed the Lawrence Welc show and Texas Ranger. Jimmy is survived by his loving family: his sisters; Mary Clark and her husband Robert of Mt. Pleasant, Victoria Shotts and her husband Walter of Youngwood, and his brother: Martin Majercak and his wife Kelly of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother John Majercak in 1969. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Jimmy will be held Monday at 12:00-Noon in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis A. Bogusz officiating. Interment will be in the Transfiguration Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
