Obituary of Kathryn Terzino Dzubak

Mount Pleasant, Kathryn Terzino Dzubak, age 87 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Tuesday (10/22/13) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Dzubak was born March 8, 1926 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Luigi and Felice Pierno Terzino. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church for over 70 years. Kay was a masterful Cook and Baker, sharing her food and baked goods with everyone. She loved working around her home, and spending time decorating. Kay was extremely generous to her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was caring for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kay is survived by her loving family: her brother in law: John "Vince" Penska, with whom she resided, her two God daughters, Beverly and Barbara Keefe, Alfronso Arevalo, M.D.; whom she considered as part of her family, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband Mike E. Dzubak in 1988, and her brothers and sisters; Carmen Terzino, Alvin Terzino, Angeline Penska , Phylis Miscovich, Rosella Murphy, Carmella Watt, and Leona Kirby. Kay was the last surviving member of the Terzino Family. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30AM in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 3PM.
