Obituary of Nancy Lee Janesko Roberts

GreenTree, Nancy Lee Janesko Roberts, age 79 of GreenTree, PA, formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday (10/05/13) at her home in Pittsburgh. with her beloved husband at her side. Mrs. Roberts was born February 20, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn Highberger Janesko. Nancy was a 1951 graduate of the former Ramsay High School, and the Greensburg School of Business. She and Jerry would have been married for 55 years on October 18th, 2013.They were married in and attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant until moving to Pittsburgh. Nancy had been employed for several years at West Penn Power's Cabin Hill Headquarters before moving on to work with her husband at Radio Station WKJF-FM. She then went to work for Rockwell International in the U.S. Steel Building from where she retired as an executive secretary in 1994. She enjoyed music and fashion, and loved her pets Nancy is survived by her loving husband , Jerome S. Roberts, and her close friend, Gail Gruendler of Pittsburgh. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 10 AM until 12-Noon, at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Nancy will immediately follow , with the Rev. Karen C. Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
