Obituary of Evelyn Queer

Reynoldsburg, OH Evelyn "Jean" Rega Queer, age 87 of Reynoldsburg, OH, formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Monday (7/29/2013) in the Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, OH. Mrs. Queer was born July 4, 1926 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Patsy and Grace Olivetti Rega. She was a former member of the Church of the Brethren. Jean was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School, and the former Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for various hospitals for over 30 years until her retirement. Jean was an active member of the Red Hats Society in Mt. Pleasant and the Scottdale YMCA Swim group. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Jean is survived by her loving family: her husband, Thomas G. Queer, and by her four children; Tom Wagner and his wife Debbie, Tim Wagner and his wife Kristie, Ted Wagner and his wife Martha and Tonya Thompson and her husband Mike. She will be greatly missed by her thirteen grandchildren: Justin, Logan, Billy, Jared, Kyla, Jenny and Rose Wagner, Zach and Kasey Holter, Amy Lutes, Emily Page, Lincoln and MiKayla Thompson and her three great grandchildren, Olivia and Liam Lutes, and Elena Page. Jean is also survived by her sister: Rachel Collins of Lyons, IN. In addition to her parents she as preceded in death by her grandson Neal Wagner. Family and friends will be received Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 1:00PM unitl 1:30PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A celebration of Jean's Life Service will begin at 1:30PM with the Rev. John Morrow officiating. Inurnment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
