Mount Pleasant, William Ronald Smetak, age 74 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died peacefully Saturday (4/27/13) in the Excela Health- Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, PA. Ron served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of Ron's Coiffures in Connellsville, where he proudly styled hair for the ladies of the surrounding area for more than 49 years. Pleasant, Robert Smetak and his wife Esther of Scottdale, Dean Smetak, and Bonnie Smetak Marne, both of Mt. Pleasant, and by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
