Obituary of Anna Mae Ruff

Mount Pleasant, Anna Mae Menzie Ruff, age 71 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died unexpectedly Monday (4/22/13) in Excela Heath- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Ruff was born October 31, 1941 in Ligonier, PA, the daughter of the late Harry and Ada Knupp Menzie. She was a member of the Scottdale United Church of Christ. Anna was a Bus Driver who worked for the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit until her retirement. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Terry W. Menzie and Dessie and Loretta L. Menzie, her grandson, Kenny Menzie, all of Mt. Pleasant, and by her step daughters; Nancy Shreves of Greensburg, Wanda Ruff of Acme, and Connie Knox of Connellsville. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Lincoln Ruff in 2002. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Anna will be held Friday in the Funeral Home, at 1:30PM with the Rev. Al Thomas, Jr., officiating . Interment will be in the Snowball Cemetery, Cook Township.
