Obituary of Laura O'Donnell Zelenak

Newville, Laura O'Donnell Zelenak, age 88 of Newville, PA, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday (02/28/2013) in the Green Ridge Village, Newville, PA. Mrs. Zelenak was born January 22, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Neil and Agnes Coll O'Donnell. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Laura is survived by her loving family: her children; James R. "Jack" Zelenak of Greenfield and Kathleen Moore of Carlisle, and by her grandson, Paul Zelenak of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by her brother, Eugene O'Donnell of AZ. In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jack R. Zelenak in 1994, and her sisters and brother; Ethel O'Donnell, Mae Rudolph, Rose Packy, Katheryn O'Donnell, and James O'Donnell. A private graveside service was held in Visitation Parish Cemetery, next to her late husband, Jack. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mt. Pleasant.
