Type Obit Here Tarrs, Ruth A. Rose Stefano, age 74 of Tarrs, PA died Saturday (08/07/2010) at Jeannette Hospice. Mrs. Stefano was born October 23, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late George and Minnie Riley Rose. Ruth was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, where she had served as Eucharistic Minister and was a very active participant in many of the Church projects and festivals. She was a graduate of the former Hurst High School, class of 1953. Ruth had been employed for many years by PNC Bank in Mount Pleasant, where she retired as branch manager. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Thomas Stefano of Boston, MA, Ronald Stefano and his wife Lisa of Crownsville, MD, Joseph Stefano and Rudy of Harrison City, and James Stefano and his wife Sherrie of Chambersburg. Ruth will be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren; Kandice Myslivy and Aaron, Stacey Stefano, Tony Stefano and Carey, Steven Stefano, Nicholas Stefano, John Stefano and Anna Maria Stefano, and by her great grandchildren; Dylan and Hayden Myslivy. Ruth is also survived by her brother, Donald Rose and his wife Eileene of Acme, and by her sisters; Marjorie Ketz and her husband Art of Richmond Heights, OH, and Jane Zundell and her husband Dave of Sarasota, and by her sister-in-law, Mary Stefano of Lady Lake, FL, and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Stefano in 2007, her brothers; George, James, Floyd, Warren and Carl Rose and by her sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Ruth Rose. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Wednesday at the funeral home at 9:30AM followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in St. Pius X R.C. Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. A Parish wake service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday @3PM.
