Obituary of Theresa Marciniak Dzambo

Glen Burnie, Theresa Marciniak Dzambo, age 87 of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Tuesday (02/26/2013) in her home, following an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family Mrs. Dzambo was born June 13, 1925 in Everson, PA, the daughter of the late Stanley and Cecelia Menes Marciniak. She was a current member of St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church of Severn, MD and a previous member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Theresa traveled extensively with her late husband Edward during his career in the Army. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and crocheting. She also enjoyed bowling and going to bingo with her friends. Theresa is survived by her loving family: her children; Phyllis Tafaya and her husband Edward of Pasadena, MD, Ronald A. Dzambo and his wife Diane of Severn, MD, Donald J. Dzambo and his wife Gloria of Ocean Pines, MD, and Irmina Caruthers and her husband Scott of Hampstead, MD, and her nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Celine Marciniak of Mt. Pleasant. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 until 9:30AM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A Blessing Service will take place at 9:30AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Visitation Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
