Obituary of Linda J. Thomas

Mount Pleasant, Linda Jean Thomas, age 54 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Saturday (1/19/2013) in Excela Heath- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Miss Thomas was born August 14, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late David and Mary Diskan Thomas. She was a graduate of Bethel Park High School, received her Bachelor's Degree in English from Point Park College and then received her Master's degree in English Literature from California University of PA. Linda was a Customer Service Representative for the National Envelope Corp. for over 17years. She enjoyed traveling, Bingo, going to the Casinos and watching movies, and especially enjoyed her Wednesday Night Trivia tournament with her sisters. She also loved sharing her time with her beloved pet Jack. Linda was a very dedicated sister and Aunt, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Linda is survived by her loving family: her sisters, Ellen M. Fortino of Williards, Maryland, M. Susan Bourdess and Beatrice A. Schiftic, both of Mt. Pleasant, and by her beloved Nieces and nephews; Scott (Bo) Fortino, Larry Fortino and Stacey, Kim Zehler and James, Lisa Fornal and Jeffrey, and Matt Schiftic, and by her great nieces and nephews; Ian, Jimmy, Franny, Ashley, Maria and Austin, and by her beloved pet and companion, Jack. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Linda's funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating.
