Obituary of Brian Chester Schoaf

Greensburg, Brian Chester Schoaf, age 50 of Greensburg, PA, died Thursday (11/15/2012) in UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Schoaf was born November 26, 1961 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Jacob and Betty Bryan Schoaf. He was a 1980 graduate of Hempfield High School, and had worked for the former Formont Corp. of Delmont. Brian was a very social person; he loved people and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. . Brian is survived by his loving family: his brothers and sisters; Earl Schoaf and his wife Debra of Smithton, James Schoaf and his wife Felicia of Belle Vernon, Clay Schoaf of Greensburg, Joseph Schoaf of New Stanton, Ronald Schoaf of New Kensington, Thomas Schoaf of Youngwood, Tilaunna Schoaf of Greensburg and Angel Gillott and her husband Todd of New Alexandria, and by numerous nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Robert Schoaf and sisters, Roxann and Laura Schoaf. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Brian's Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, with Minister Herman Frohnhofer officiating. Interment will be in the Youngwood Cemetery.
