Obituary of Sarah M. (Sally) Leshko

Mount Pleasant, Sarah M. "Sally" Lessman Leshko, age 80 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Monday (07/30/2012) in Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA., surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Leshko was born April 29, 1932 in Bridgeport, PA, the daughter of the late Lawrence George and Beatrice Echard Lessman. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Sally was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins Fan, and enjoyed long drives and playing the lottery. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Sally is survived by her loving family: her children; Cheryl Siwula and her husband Robert (Beef), Marian Leshko , Heidi Leshko, John J. Leshko and his wife Kay, all of Mt. Pleasant and Daniel Leshko and his wife Lisa of United. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Jennifer Siwula, Brian Siwula and wife Tabatha, Lindsey Leshko, Alyssa Leshko, John Ross Leshko, Ashley Lesko and Dan Leshko, Jr., and by her great grandchildren; Gabrielle Leshko, Stella Siwula, Kylee Martin, and Ava Leonard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and Brothers and sisters-in-law, and by her best friends and companions, her dogs, Sidney and Fleury. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband John J. Leshko, Jr. in 2010, and her brothers and sister; James and William Lessman and Constance Lessman Sirianna. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 9:30AM followed by Sally's Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township.
