Obituary of Minnie Leona Overly

Mt. Pleasant, Minnie Leona Overly, age 91 of Mt. Pleasant, PA, died Friday (6/1/2012) in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg, PA. Miss Overly was born July 13, 1920 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Dempsey E. and Minnie Stoner Overly. She was protestant ay faith. Minnie was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School, and was a lifelong resident of Mt. Pleasant. She dedicated her life to caring for her parents. Minnie is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Edward S. Overly of Hunker, and by numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her brothers; Merle, Clyde, Lloyd, Dempsey, Donald, Floyd and Joseph Overly, and by her sisters, Pearle Overly Hanlin and Jane Overly. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Minnie will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. J. Timothy Hoover officiating. Private Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.
