Obituary of Hallie Marie Craig Kissell
Acme, Hallie Marie Craig Kissell, age 77 of Acme, PA, died Sunday (04/1/2012 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg, PA.
Mrs. Kissell was born January 12, 1935 in Acme, PA, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Keefer Craig. She was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains R C Church. Hallie was a member of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, and had worked for the ARC. She was a 1952 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She worked for many years as a secretary for the Bailey and former DeBone Chiropractic Clinics in Mt. Pleasant. She had also worked for Cauilier Electric Co. and had been an active tupperware dealer.
Hallie is survived by her loving family: her children; William R. Kissell of Carnegie, Lori A. Hudec and Patrick Monroe of Mt. Pleasant, Joseph R. Kissell of Hidden Valley, and Michael C. Kissell of Greensburg, her beloved grandchildren; Joshua, Jesse, Jalesha and Jayson, amd Aleasja amd Amdy We;sh, and her great grandchildren; Hunter, Austin, and Jaden, Wyatt and Henry. Hallie is also survived by her sisters, Geneva Markle and Jean Miller and her husband Harry, all of Hunker and her sister in law, Betty Ann Craig of Connellsville. In addition to her parents, Hallie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Kissell in 2004, her daughter; Diane Marie Kissell in 1985, her brothers, Samuel and Denver Craig, and by her sister Betty Stairs.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday Morning @10:00 A.M. at St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church, 170 School House Road, Donegal, PA 15628. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
Hallie's family will receive family and friends later that evening (Wednesday) from 6 until 9PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Private Inurnment will be in St. Raymond of the Mountains Cemetery, Donegal.
