Obituary of Mary Margaret Geyer

Mount Pleasant, Mary Margaret Geyer, of Mount Pleasant PA, died Monday (12/5/2011) in Excela Heath- Frick Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Theresa Galderisi Jordan. She was a member of St. Pius X Parish in Mount Pleasant. Mary was a graduate of Connellsville High School. She had been employed by the Anchor Hocking Company and Quality Builders Service of Greensburg. She devoted her entire life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary is survived by her children: Julia (James) Skovira, Patricia Geyer, Joseph Geyer, Thomas (Gail) Geyer, Randall (Ruby) Geyer, and Mary Kay (Edward) Gorecki, Jr. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Joseph (Jodi) Geyer, Jr., Jennifer (David) Brisendine, Brad Geyer, Kelli (Jeff) Pastore, Gina Geyer (Aaron Egleston), Eric (Kristyne) Geyer, Matthew Geyer, Jacob Skovira, and Leslie (Bryan) Baumann, and by her great-grandchildren: Gavin, Aidan, Cameron, Alec, Avah, Remy and Carson. Mary is also survived by her brother, Carmen Jordan, her sister, Bette Wohlegmuth and by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceeded in death by her husband William G. Geyer in 1994, her children, Barbara and William Geyer, her grandson James Robert Skovira, Jr., and by her sisters; Julia Renzi, Immaculate Jordan, and Lena Jordan and her brothers Raphael, Joseph, Daniel, James, Michael, and Ralph Jordan and several nieces and nephews. As per Mary's request, there will be no hours of public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Mary's funeral mass on Saturday, December 10 @10:00AM in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Mt.Pleasant, PA with the Rev. Dennis A. Bogusz as celebrant. Private Inurnment will be in St. Pius X Parish Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street,Mt.Pleasant.
