Obituary of Sandra K. Zufall

Sandra K. Zufall, 73, of Acme died Wednesday January 1, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Zufall was born October 15, 1951 in Connellsville to the late Daniel Vansickle and Elva Scott Christman.

Sandy was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School and later went on to graduate from cosmetology school in 1998.  She attended Keystone Church in Greensburg and most recently Mt. Nebo Church of God in Champion.  Sandy loved planting flowers, gardening, watching her grandson wrestle, going to the beach, sitting on her porch, and most of all spending time with her loving family.

Sandy is survived by her loving family, her husband of 55 years, David L. Zufall; her daughters, Sheri Kern (Kenny), and Penny Rodgers; her grandchildren, Kylie Kern, Calista Kern, and Dakoda Rodgers; her brother, Howard Christman (Pat); and by her faithful canine companions, Coco and Skye.  In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her infant son, Jesse Zufall; and by her siblings, Betty, Dick, Sylvia, John, Kenneth, Donald, and Charles.

In honoring Sandra’s wishes there will be no public hours of visitation or services.  A private interment will be held in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.  The family would like to extend a special thank you Amedysis Hospice especially Marcie and Robert for their wonderful care and comfort.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
