Obituary of Margaret A. Colon

Margaret A. “Peggy” Colon, 79, of Mt. Pleasant went to be with her lord and savior, Tuesday December 17, 2024 in Westmoreland Hospital.  Ms. Colon was born March 6, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant to the late James H. and Marie Nowasky Craig. 

Peggy was a graduate of Hurst High School.  She was a teacher at the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and worked at Volkswagen on the assembly line.  Peggy was a member of the Fairview Church in Hammondville. 

Peggy is survived by her loving family, her children, Antonio J. Colon, and Virginia M. Colon; her sister, Anna Marie Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful canine companion, Blackie.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her siblings, James A. Craig, and Eva Ruth Craig.
