Obituary of Claudia J. Grissom

Claudia J. Bell Grissom, 77, of Mt. Pleasant died Friday November 22, 2024 in Independence Health System-Frick Hospital.  Ms. Grissom was born June 24, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Clyde J. and Helen E. Peffer Bell Sr.

Claudia was a graduate of Ramsay High School class of 1965.  She worked as a secretary in the Pentagon and later at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.  She lived most of her adult life in Virginia and North Carolina before recently returning to Mt. Pleasant.  Claudia had a passion for decorating and would always love to help others decorate their homes.

Claudia is survived by her loving family, her brother, Joe Bell of Mt. Pleasant; her niece, Alicia Bell Laskey (Kevin) and their children, Charlotte and Harper; her nephews, Eric Bell (Kate) and their children, Eli and Ezra; and Nicholas Bell; her faithful feline companion, Tac; and by her extended family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Bell; and her brother, George Bell. 

Family and friends will be received on Friday November 29^th from Noon until the hour of her Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
