Obituary of Julia Ann Hennessey

Julia Ann Hennessey, 79, of Connellsville passed away Thursday August 8, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  Julia was born August 12, 1944 in Everson to the late Francis R. and Rita A. Shandorf Erwin Sr. 

Julia was a graduate of Connellsvillie Area High School class of 1963.  She attended Grace Fellowship Church in Everson.  She worked for Smith Glass on the paint line until they closed and retired as a CNA from Harmon House in Mt. Pleasant.  Julia was also the past president of the fish and game at the Bridgeport Sportsmans Club.  She was a dog lover who could never turn away a stray. 

Julia is survived by her loving family, her siblings, Janet Fuoss, Clara Sebeck, and William G. Erwin (Melanie); her sister-in-law, Dorothy Erwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her friend and companion, Joseph Lewandowski; and her brothers, Russell J. Erwin, and Francis R. Erwin Jr.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
