Ron was married to my niece, Lois, and was a member of my family.
He had a lot of health issues that seemed to be getting worse. He suffered a lot of pain at times, but I never heard him complain. He was stoic in dealing with his problems.
When I lost my husband, he spoke at the funeral with heart-felt words that were very touching and comforting.
I depended on Ron for advice on car maintenance. Since I don't drive much, he would pick me up for family get-togethers. I had been counting on him to get me to Matt and Holly's wedding.
He will be sadly missed.
May he rest in peace.
