Obituary of Barbara R. Ceroni

Barbara R. Ceroni, 76, of Mt. Pleasant died Friday March 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Ceroni was born August 12, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant to the late John H. and Olive Porter Kritschgau.

Barbara was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.  She worked as a manager at PNC Bank for many years.  Barb enjoyed spending the winters with her husband “Cat” in Fort Meyers, Florida, golfing, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her loving family, her children, Christian Brnilovich (Rudy), Bobbi Keefer (Bob Albright), and Matthew Ceroni (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Erin Dopkowski (Mike), Danielle Kavel, and Gabrielle Keefer; and her great-grandaughter, Evyn Paige Dopkowski.  Barb is also survived by her siblings, Joyce Woods (John), Jack Kritschgau (Diane), and Nancy Kritschgau; her brothers-in-law, William Ceroni and John DiPasquale (Sandy); her sisters-in-law, Dr. Kathleen Ceroni (Dr. Michael Polechko), and Marie Ceroni; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Robert “Cat” Ceroni in 2018.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday April 2^nd from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of her blessing service at 12:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, Inc., 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant.  A Memorial Mass for Barb will be held in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m.  A private inurnment will follow in St. Pius X Parish Cemetery.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Easy Living Country Estates and Bridges Hospice for their wonderful care of Barb.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to Mt.
