Obituary of Michael Anthony Shanahan

Michael Anthony Shanahan, 34, of Scottdale, died Saturday March 9, 2024 in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital.  Michael was born June 24, 1989 in Harrisburg to Sondra Shanahan.

Michael was a graduate of Palm Desert High School class of 2007.  He enjoys making things with his hands, especially knives and guns.  He was also a very talented musician and artist.  Mike loved spending time with his family, especially taking them fishing, camping, and hiking. 

Michael is survived by his loving family, his fiancé, Simantha Marinucci; his children, Aiden Rogers, Rebekah, Aaron, and Arya Shanahan; his mother, Sondra Shanahan; his sister, Casey Summerville (James); and numerous extended family.
