Obituary of Martin A. Majercak

Martin  A. “Chinny” Majercak Jr, 72, of Mount Pleasant died at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh February 21, 2024.  He was born October 3, 1951, a son of the late Martin A. and Genevieve Kaczynski Majercak, Sr.

Martin worked as a laborer in the construction business.  He proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1973. He was a life member of the VFW Post 3368 in Mt. Pleasant, where he was an officer and was part of their Funeral Honor Guard.  Chinny was also a member of the American Legion Post 446 of Mt. Pleasant.

Martin is survived by his wife, Kelly J. Roth Majercak; his children Christopher, Tonya, Kathleen, and John; his sisters, Mary Clark, and Victoria Shotts; fourteen grandchildren; and nine great- grand children.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Martin Majercak; and his brothers, James and John Majercak.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 3368 in Mount Pleasant.  Military honors will be accorded by VFW Post 3368 and American Legion Post 446 both of Mt.
