Obituary of Daniel G. Baker

Daniel G. "Bubba" Baker, 56, of Mt. Pleasant died Thursday August 17, 2023 at Washington Hospital.  Daniel was born December 12, 1966 in Mt. Pleasant to Norma Jean Stouffer Baker and the late David George Baker Jr.

Daniel was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School class of 1984.  He worked as a caregiver for Laurel Highlands Association for many years.  Dan was a hard worker, who had a great sense of humor and was an all around good guy.  Dan served as the President of the resident council at the Greenery Center for Rehab & Nursing.  Dan loved to go fishing and always treasured the fishing trips to Lake Ontario with his dad and grandfather.

Dan is survived by his loving family, his mother, Norma Jean Baker; his siblings,  David Baker, Lori Booher, and Donald Baker; and by his nieces and nephews, Brandan Baker, Justin Basinger, Isaac Baker, Shelbie Baker, Benjamin Baker, and Jaxon Baker.  Daniel was preceded in death by his father David George Baker Jr. on August 17, 1997.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 until the time of the Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m. in Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., 204 Eagle St. Mt. Pleasant.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in loving memory of Daniel G.
