Obituary of Gerald J. Duricko

Gerald J. “Jerry” Duricko, 81, of Acme died Sunday, June 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  Gerald was born February 13, 1942 in Braddock to the late John and Anne Bobby Duricko.

Jerry was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church in Donegal.  He was a 1960 graduate of Braddock High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Jerry retired from U.S. Steel Homestead Works after 20 years of service.  He enjoyed listening to music, working around his house, gardening, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and socializing with everyone he could. 

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Diane R. Rothrauff Duricko; his sons, Gerald M. Duricko, and Ronald J. Duricko (Dawn); his grandchildren, Angela Duricko, Rick Goughneour, Shane Duricko, Marisa Duricko, and Brady Duricko; and by one great-granddaughter.  Jerry is also survived by his sister, Doris Ankney; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie Miller.
