Obituary of Ethel Leona Love

Ethel Leona Love, 92, of Mt. Pleasant died Saturday April 1, 2023 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.  Mrs. Love was born February 14, 1931 in Yukon to the late Thomas and Edna Shannon Aitken.

Ethel was a graduate of East Huntington High School class of 1949.  She was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church in Tarrs, where she played the organ and sang in the church choir.  Ethel enjoyed listening to music, reading a good book, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Ethel is survived by her loving children, Laura Love, Edie Reagan (Larry), Wade Love (Kris), Jane Stewart (Jeff), Jim Love (Maggie), and Susie Schafer (Kevin); her loving fourteen grandchildren; and her adoring six great-grandchildren and one on the way.  In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Wade J. Love in 1989.
