Charlotte and I became friends soon after she moved to North Carolina . I met her at a Catholic charismatic prayer group, and we both belonged to St Gabriel Church . Charlotte spent a lot of time at our home , and my husband and kids loved her too . Charlotte had a wonderful sense of humor , and her deep laugh was infectious .
I remember looking for houses with Charlotte - God blessed her with a wonderful condo in Raintree , which is a very desirable area . That cute condo was one of God’s many providential gifts that He bestowed on her. We also went car shopping together , and we laughed that God also got Charlotte a good deal on her car .
Charlotte was at my house when a neighbor stopped by with kittens . Animal lover that she was , Charlotte adopted her kittens , Mary and Theresa . Charlotte loved those kitties !
Due to the brain injury Charlotte sustained in a car wreck , she had a terrible sense of direction . She and I used to laugh that I was born with an inability to find places , so we had that in common . Despite always getting lost , Charlotte and I went to lunch often , and we loved to shop at the thrift stores in the Arboretum .
Charlotte was a beloved member of the Catholic community . She was good friends with Father Ed Sheridan , and they kept in touch .
Charlotte had many challenges and struggles . She had a deep faith and trusted in God in every situation . She used to say God must love her and that God kept her alive because God had a sense of humor . I am sure the good Lord looked down on her many mishaps and comical situations and smiled at Charlotte . It was clear that Charlotte loved God with her whole heart , and that He loved her and provided for her . I am so glad she is free from her injured body , that she is restored, and that she and God are enjoying each other’s company . Love you and miss you sweet friend ! Paula and Dr Ed ( Knish ) and family

We are saddened at the death of Charlotte! When she was in Charlotte, North Carolina, she became part of our family. Charlotte would share her culinary skills with us. She loved making little cherry cheesecakes and bring them to our celebrations. Also, she would make these huge pepperoni pizzas for my family, which they absolutely loved. But most of all, Charlotte was a true friend to all of us. in addition, when we became owners of a Weimaraner, who was called Dakota, Charlotte would take him for walks and keep him while we were gone on weekends and vacations. She and Dakota developed a very special bond. Dakota could tell when her car was going down the street, and he would start barking very loudly, knowing that Charlotte was coming to see him.
She had an amazing laugh and always was keeping us up on the latest sports news, especially Notre Dame and the University of Tennessee.
We are sad, that her life was shortened but know that she is at peace and very happy being up there in heaven. I hope she’s taking Dakota for a long walk which is way overdue.
We loved her and I’m grateful that she was with her family in Pennsylvania when she passed.

Charlotte was one of the most wonderfully caring person I had a pleasure to know and grow up with through school and many events at St.Timothy's. She always had a smile for everyone and always there to help. I haven't seen her in many many years, but she has always been in my throughts. I send my prayers to Doris and the rest of the family. We may have lost a friend, sister and daughter, but Heaven gained an Angel. May she RIP.
May you all please take care.

Charlotte was a very dear friend and a true leader. She was so loved by her classmates those many years ago..many good memories of those schools days with her. I was so happy to reconnect some years later. We kept in touch with a few visits at her Mom's house and sending Christmas cards each year. I'm sorry we didn't get together more recently as planned. We also shared the same date of birth which we always joked about. Sincere condolences to the Manns family. Rest in peace sweet Charlotte. You will be greatly missed. Until we meet again..
