Obituary of Violet B. Paul

Violet B. Paul, 96, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday February 22, 2023 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  Mrs. Paul was born October 24, 1926 in Kecksburg to the late Virgil Matthews and Olive Marks.

Violet was a faithful member of Fairview Church of God in  Kecksburg, where she was the church organist and helped to organize their rummage sales.  She was a graduate of Hurst High School and worked for over 30 years at Anchor Hocking in Connellsville. 

Violet is survived by her children, Allan Paul, and Alberta Jay (Raymond); her four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Jean Tlumac.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Paul in 1984; and by her brothers and sisters.

In honoring Violet's wishes all services will be private.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, Mt.
