Obituary of Ronald N. Tate

 

Ronald N. “Pee Wee” Tate Sr., 68, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday February 20, 2023.  Ronald was born April 29, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant to the late John V. and Rachel Trout Tate.

 

Ron was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School class of 1973.  He was a self-employed plumber and did numerous jobs for people around town.  Ron was a member of the Assunta Club, Slovak Club, East Huntington Fireman’s Club, and Hecla Sportsman's Club.  Pee Wee loved to read, gardening, flea markets, cook, play with his dogs, and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

 

Ron is survived by his loving fiancée, Sarah L. Kreinbrook of Mt. Pleasant; his loving children, Tonya Sipes (Eric) of Zelienople, and Ronald N. Tate Jr. (Karen) of Greensburg; and his adoring grandsons, Ryan and Ethan Tate.  Ronald is also survived by his siblings, Lawrence Tate (Jane), Randy Tate (Debbie), Richard Tate, Mary Jo Tate, and Peggy Tate; his sister-in-laws, Crystal Tate and Wendy Tate; Sarah's daughter, Mary Kay Kreinbrook; and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to his parents Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings, John D. Tate, Gary Tate, Donald "Eggo" Tate, James V. Tate, Robert D. Tate, and Sally Rae Tate.

 

Family and friends will be received on Thursday February 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant.  A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas C. Shirer officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Ronald N. Tate Sr.  The Mt.
