Obituary of Amelia Ann Forys

Amelia Ann Forys, 87, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday morning January 15, 2023.  Amelia was born February 18, 1935 in Mount Pleasant, to the late Henry and Margaret (Citro) Caruso Sr. and is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Joseph (Bob) Forys.

Amelia was an active member in the Girl Scouts of America, Rosary Confraternity, Catholic Charities, Italian Women’s club, and the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Choir. In addition, she was a volunteer at Caritas Christi for the Sisters of Charity.  Amelia had a love for life and all people, was an avid gardener and also enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, oil painting, knitting, golf, piano, and tennis. Her beautiful heart and kind smile will be missed by all who knew her.
