Obituary of Dolores Sann

Dolores “Dee” Sann, 91, of Mt.  Pleasant, died Wednesday December 14, 2022 in The Haven at North Hills Senior Residence.  Dolores was born May 31, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant to the late William S. and Sophia E. Hresko Sofranko. 

Ms. Sann was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church and their Rosary Altar Society.  She was a graduate of Ramsay High School class of 1949. Dolores was employed in the Registration Department of Frick Hospital.  After retirement she was a volunteer at “Meals on Wheels” and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and granddogs.

Dolores is survived by her loving daughters, Susan ( Robert) Thomas of Pittsburgh, and Diane Otolski of  Fort Wayne, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Lauren ( Jason ) Mussitsch,  Stephen (Alyssa) Thomas, and  Nicole (Joseph) Cochran ; and by her five adoring great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law and friend, Pat Sofranko of Mt. Pleasant.  In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers, William G. Sofranko and Richard E. Sofranko.

Family and friends will be received Sunday December 18^th from 2 to 4 PM at Galone-Caruso funeral home, 204 Eagle St., Mt Pleasant.  A blessing service will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 10:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Visitation Parish Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made in memory of Dolores Sann to Visitation R.C.
