Obituary of Rose Marie Pisula

Rose Marie Pisula, 84, of Mt. Pleasant died Sunday December 4, 2022 in Select Specialty Hospital Latrobe.  Rose was born February 5, 1938 in Hecla to the late Joseph R. and Elizabeth Ketch Lesko.

Mrs. Pisula was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister and former officer of the Christian Mothers.  She was a graduate of Hurst High School class of 1956.  Mrs. Pisula was previously employed at Burgles ice cream shop, Westinghouse, and LE Smith Corp.

Rose Marie is survived by her loving grandson, John Michael Pisula; her loving great-grandchildren, Brynn and Bryce Pisula; her daughter-in-law, Angie Barnes; her step-granddaughter, Amanda Fess Williams; and by her step-great-granddaughter, Morgan Williams.  She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Linda Lesko, Kathy Lesko, and Cecelia Pisula; her brother-in-law, James (Marlene) Pisula; numerous nieces and nephews; and by her lifelong friend, Rita Gyurke.  In addition to her parents Rose was preceded in death by her husband John W. "Jack" Pisula; her son, John M. Pisula Sr.; and by her siblings, Gerald Lesko, Joseph "Sonny" Lesko, Corinne Nebraska, Shirley Patik, Barbara Dombrosky, and Marie Lesko.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday December 7th at Galone-Caruso funeral home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant from 11 to 1 PM the time of her blessing service.  A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:30 PM at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Visitation Parish Cemetery.  To offer an online condolence please visit our website at www.galone-carusofuneralhome.com
