Obituary of Carolyn B Myslewski

Carolyn B (Sossa) Myslewski, age 81 of Mount Pleasant, PA, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022.   

 

Carolyn was born April 14, 1941 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late John and Catherine Machupa Sossa. She was a member of St. Florian Parish in United. Carolyn was a graduate of Southmoreland High School. She had worked for years as a bank teller at Gallatin Bank, then later in life found great joy in becoming a nanny. As a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, she enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. During her spare time she could be found in her garden caring for her flowers and vegetables, going for long walks and sometimes at auctions bidding on unique collectibles and jewelry.  Carolyn was well known for her keen sense of humor, stylish wardrobe and her compassion and love for animals. 

 

She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan Myslewski and her husband, William Rosche of Mount Pleasant, her sister-in-law, Marian Myslewski, brother-in-law Lawrence Myslewski, sister-in-law Margaret Sossa, and her nephew, Dan Myslewski and his wife Lee Anne. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Myslewski, and her brothers, Edward and Richard Sossa. 

 

Family and friends will be received Monday from 4 PM to 6 PM, the time of Carolyn’s funeral service, at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to: Action for Animals, 386 PA-217, Latrobe, PA 15650, in memory of Carolyn B. Myslewski.
