Obituary of Theresa D. Leshko

Theresa D. Leshko, age 84 of Tarrs PA, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born on December 30, 1937 in Tarrs, PA, the daughter of the late John and Mary Balcik Verostko. Mrs. Leshko was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. She is a 1955 graduate of East Huntington High School. She had been employed as an assembler at Westinghouse and worked for a few years at C & C Lumber Co. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, and grandma who enjoyed watching Andy Griffith and The Golden Girls. She also treasured her buddy Chester, her cat. She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan “Suzi” Kaper (Timothy); her beloved granddaughters, Kayla Kaper (Brad), Kaitlyn Kaper (Michelle); and by her brothers, Roman and Andrew Verostko. In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Leshko and her brothers, George, Bernard, William, John, and Charles Verostko. Family and Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by Theresa’s Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, 740 Walnut Street, Mount Pleasant.
