Obituary of Daniel H. Weinman

Daniel H. Weinman, age 90, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in the Excela Health-Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Mr. Weinman was born October 18, 1931 in Bridgeport, the son of the late John and Alleen Dick Weinman. Dan was a proud Veteran of the US Army who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a hard worker who started working in the coal mine at age 7 . He continued to work as a carpenter and a heavy equipment operator before his retirement. Dan was a member of the Bridgeport Sportsman's Club where he had been an officer, the VFW, American Legion and Polish Falcon Club all of Mt. Pleasant. "Uncle Dan" ,as he was known by many, was the best Dad and Pap and a friend to many. Dan is survived by his loving daughters; Suzi Daniels (Douglas) of Mt. Pleasant, Danyell Secrest of California, and Vicki Beal (Robert) of Mt. Pleasant, his loving grandchildren; Jamie Daniels (James Flynn), Douglas "DJ" Daniels (Ashleigh), Keith Daniels (Whitney), Cody Daniels (Bobbisue), Timothy Weinman, Nathaniel Secrest, Nathan Beal (Paula), Adam Beal (Jessica), and Leah Butchko (Adam) and by his loving great-grandchildren; Camden, Emmie, Maddison, Cody Jr., Izzy, Jacob, Aleana, Austin, Timmy, Grace, Faith, Emma, Adam Jr., Caleb and Brielle. He is also survived by his sister Betty. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Annabell Rae Weinman in 2015 and by his brothers, Homer, Bob and Bruce Weinman. Honoring Dan's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant.
