Obituary of Jane E. Provlic

Jane E. Provlic, age 84 of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Provlic was born November 19, 1937 in Hunker, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Smitley Bashioum. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Jane worked for many years at the former Coffee Pot in Mt. Pleasant. She loved to spend time with her husband and they could often be found at Wal-Mart, Subway or McDonalds. Jane loved to play the organ, fish for bluegills and square dance with George. She is survived by her loving brothers and sisters; Richard Bashioum, Susan Gestler, Tom Bashioum (Barb), Melanie Sager and Michael Bashioum (Terry). She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Janice Bashioum and John DeMarco and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents ,Jane was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Provlic, her brother and sister, Chuck Bashioum and Ruth Ann DeMarco and by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken & Patricia Provlic, Bert Bashioum, George Gestler, and Joe Sager. Family and friends will be received Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1 until 3 pm, the time of her funeral service at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you to her nephew and niece, Ken & Charlotte Provlic for all the loving care that they gave to Jane.
