Obituary of George R. Provlic

George R. Provlic, age 86 of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 with his loving wife by his side. Mr. Provlic was born February 22, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Steven A. and Sarah Cunningham Provlic. George loved to dance and met his wife Jane at a square dance. They quickly fell in love and together cherished many memories of times spent on the dance floor. He and his wife could often be found at Wal-Mart, Subway or McDonalds in Mt. Pleasant. George’s favorite outdoor activities included archery, fishing and hunting. George was a lifetime member of the PA Archery Association and the Mt. Pleasant Dartball League. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jane E. Bashioum Provlic, his loving nephews, Kenneth Provlic (Charlotte) and Rickie (Suzie) Provlic and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Provlic Sr. and his wife Patricia. Family and friends will be received Monday, November 8 from 11 AM until 1 PM, the time of George's funeral service at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt.
