Obituary of Robert S. Bigley

Robert Scott Bigley, age 56, of Mt. Pleasant died Monday October 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bigley was born February 1,1965 in Wurzburg, Germany, the son of the late Thomas F. Bigley (Sandy) and Cassandra J. Bell Pepe (Mark). Scott had dual citizenship in Germany and the United States until he was 21 years old. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School class of 1983. He worked for Fox's Glass in Mt. Pleasant for more than 30 years. He was a member of numerous social clubs in Mt. Pleasant and was an avid sports fan of all the Pittsburgh sports. Scott is survived by his two brothers, Brian Keith Bigley and Joel David Bigley and his wife Olive; his sister, Vanessa Breakiron and her husband Michael; his sisters-in-law, Teresa Lowman and her husband Chuck, Jeanne Blaniar and her husband Charlie, and Rita Yauger; his beloved dog Jethro; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years Patricia "Patty" Yauger Bigley, and by his beloved dog Edie. In honoring Scott's wishes there will be no hours of public visitation. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chris for taking care of Scott and Robert, Veronica, Becky, and Jodi of Amedysis Hospice for their love and care of Scott.
