Obituary of Louise Adeline Bales

Louise Adeline (Rinaldi) Bales, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Mrs. Bales was born July 30, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Emilio and Rose Marie (Corradine) Rinaldi. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Louise was a 1956 graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She was a nursing assistant at Frick Hospital for more than 28 years. After her retirement, Louise became a friendly and familiar face at Brown's Candy Kitchen. She loved to travel the United States with her husband, Don. Louise was a very caring person who always put everyone before herself. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 62 years, Donald G. Bales; her daughter, Barbara (Ben) Veto, of Somerset; her son, David (Josette) Bales; her beloved grandsons, Alexander and Gregory Veto; and by her godson, Barry Palanko. Louise is also survived by her sister, Adeline (James) Palanko; her brothers, Frank (Melanie), Donald (Sandy) and Ronald Rinaldi; and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Pius X Parish Cemetery.
