Obituary of Gerald Marker

Gerald Marker Sr., age 76 of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, (9/30/2021) in the Select Specialty Hospital at Latrobe. Mr. Marker was born June 17, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Carl and Evelyn Miller Marker. He was a member of the First Brethren Church of Mt. Pleasant. He loved to hunt and fish with his sons but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Gerald is survived by his loving family: his wife, Linda Overly Marker, his devoted children, Gerald Marker Jr. (Emily) and their children, Kaitlyn and Trey, Jeffrey Butler, and Gloria Lane (Joseph) and their children, JoJo and Bella. He is also survived by his brothers, Carl, Sherman, and Larry Marker. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Marker and his sister, Nancy Kreiger. Honoring his wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mt. Pleasant.
