Obituary of Karolina Ann Tkach

Karolina Ann Kolar Tkach, age 74, of RuffsDale, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Waldens View Memory Care, North Huntington. Mrs. Tkach was born December 27, 1946 a daughter of the late Frank E. and Helen Gottvald Kolar Sr. She was a member of Seven Dolors Roman Catholic Church of Yukon. Karolina graduated from Sewickley High School and then earned an Associates Degree in accounting from Westmoreland County Community College. She loved planting flowers, gardening and baking, but most of all spending time with her family. Mrs. Tkach is survived by her loving children: Tracy Jones of Scottdale, Lori Ann Tkach of RuffsDale, Joseph M. (Sabrina) Tkach Jr. of Scottdale, and Steven A. (Misty) Tkach of Louisiana, her loving grandchildren; Cody, Nathan, Elizabeth, Carolann, Mihla, Cannon, Brittany, Colton, and Dillion and by her adoring great-grandchildren, Ariana and Landyn. Karolina is also survived by her brother, Frank E. (Connie) Kolar Jr.; her sister, Connie (George) Reinstadtler; and by her best buddy, Ralphie (puppy). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Tkach, her granddaughter, Ashley Firestone, her son-in-law, Jamie Jones and by her sister, Patricia Aldridge. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Seven Dolors R.C. Church, Yukon.
