Obituary of Margaret Irene Burkholder

 Margaret Irene Burkholder, age 74 of Hunker, PA, died unexpectedly, Monday (2/19/2018) at her home. Mrs. Burkholder was born Sept 20, 1943 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Orton and Margaret Leasure Stoner. Margaret enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, scrapbooking, spending time on her computer but most of all enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Bradford Stoner (Gina), Annette Blanche, Wesley E. Burkholder (Jen), Crystal Burkholder, and Shanndah Burkholder, her beloved grandchildren; Alex, Taylor, Bradford, Megan, Jaynee, Justin, Jackie, Jordan, Joey, Caleb, Gage, and Phoenix, and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Pete, J.D., Frank and David Stoner, Debbie Lint, Emma Stoner, Gloria Miller and Dianne Lint. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley E. Burkholder, Sr., her son, Christopher Burkholder, her daughter, Margo Renee Beltz, and by her brothers and sisters; Ronald Stoner, Carol, Zelma, Retha, Martha, Jeannette and Delores. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Margaret will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
